Apple files second ITC patent infringement complaint against HTC

Nothing like a little legalese to take the edge off on a Monday, eh? Just months after Apple smacked HTC with an ITC complaint, it looks as if the company’s doing the same thing again. As if one ongoing ITC complaint against Samsung wasn’t enough, the US International Trade Commission is reporting that HTC is being accused again. As predicted, the patent infringement complaint is asking for the entity to block the import of “personal electronic devices” by HTC, but until it becomes available for public viewing, it’s hard to know exactly which device(s) ticked the lawyers in Cupertino off. As for the prior tiff? A judge is expected to rule on that August 5th, and those findings are then subject to review by the full commission. HTC’s not commenting yet given that even it hasn’t seen the details, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as the drama unfolds.

Android users have become the largest user group of mobile flow
Android OS not only leads the US market,but also takes advantage on mobile flow.The data about April 2011 shows that android has took up 36% in smartphones market. Ahead of Apple and RIM.
It’s worth noting that Android not just maintain lead in the smartphone market share , and this advantage constantly increase.However, Nielsen report is more interested in the users how to use their smartphones. Nielsen divids the flow into many types, including download third-party smartphone applications, mobile TV, music streaming service, all the pieces of the music downloading and online games.

Apple plans to put forward smaller SIM card standards… Nano SIM?
Apple wants electronic product without the desire of SIM CARDS, though, still can not be achieved.But they have made progress recently. According to Reuters reported,ETSI has confirmed with them. Apple has already handed over new SIM standard proposal that will with more smaller SIM card to replace Micro SIM ,then let the more frivolous mobile phones, tablets to use.At present, we have heard that have Orange insiade several Europe telecommunications operator said support.So relevant standardization program is expected to finish in a year or so, therefore the fastest next year should has an opportunity to see nano SIM kind of things appear over iPad in iPhone.

[Report]Android OS occupy the first Position in the Smartphone Platforms
The report of comScore MobiLens show that the proportion of android in U.S continue to grow.The first quarter in 2011,Google in the U.S. market share from the last December 28.7% up to 34.7%.At the same time ,Apple iOS platform has also expanded the market,the proportion from the end of 2010 28.7% up to 25.5% in March 2011.
